David A. Dodge has been an independent financial consultant since 2007, providing a wide variety of expert consulting, financial and accounting services to expert witnesses and public and private companies around the globe. 

Since 2012, Mr. Dodge has provided expert consulting services in nearly 40 cases involving opinions issued on a wide variety of topics including due diligence standard of care and custom and practice for underwriters (in transactions including IPOs, equity follow-on offerings and debt offerings), mergers & acquisitions, and private equity and venture capital investments; customary practices in the investment banking industry; and customary practices in the private equity and venture capital businesses.

Mr. Dodge has also acted as an expert witness in five cases as a due diligence expert, accounting expert, and corporate finance expert, offering opinions on, among things, standard of care and custom and practice for investor due diligence, custom and practice for seller due diligence, accounting practices and propriety of public disclosures, the applicability of listing vs. regulatory measurements and financial modeling practices.  

Prior to his expert consulting and expert witness work, Mr. Dodge acted as contract CFO and provided financial accounting, reporting and compliance services for multiple public and private companies in the U.S., Canada, England, and China. He has also supervised and authored dozens of forensic due diligence investigative reports on Chinese companies in a variety of industries.  Mr. Dodge previously served as CFO of NeoMedia Technologies, Inc., a U.S. public company, from 2002 through 2007, and held various finance-related positions with NeoMedia from 1999 to 2002.  Before NeoMedia, he was an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP from 1997 to 1999.
